Zissou, London is an artist and designer with a background in technology and a foreground in sustainability. And yes, his real name is Zissou.

1. To keep me in a peak state, I get a minimum of two massages a week. I either go for a soft soothing touch, or firm reflexology at Sedona Spa (Jl Raya Campuhan-close to Bintang in Ubud) or Kush (Yoga Barn).

2. Grazing on delicious greens and healthy meals at amazing restaurants gives me endless pleasure. My favorite spots in Ubud include the clean and organic Down to Earth (Jalan Goutama) or the more affordable Dayu’s Warung (Jl Sugriwa, 28) .

3. I like to often times jam out after-hours at Soma with friends, listening to Johnny beat the drums while sipping on a warm spiced ojas builder.

4. Swimming in the rivers and holy spring water pools of The Royal Pita Maha (Jalan Raya Desa Mas, Gianyar) a luxurious retreat centre 30 minutes from Ubud.

5. I dance anywhere I can get to. Friday nights and Sunday mornings at The Yoga Barn in Ubud are two wonderful opportunities I try never to miss.

Emily Kuser has been involved in a ridiculous amount of fun and weirdness over her five years in Bali. She teaches yoga at Yoga Barn.

1. 5:00 a.m. solo motor bike rides north to Kintamani – the place to go for mindblowing volcano and sunrise views. Follow up with a walk along the Batur Lake lookout trail with the voodoo temple.
2. AWESOME twenty minute Denpasar airport reflexology session at Nu Prasada Reflexology, next to Terminal 7 – best with Junie (or any of those kids). There are times I just get to the airport too early, ya know?
3. One hour from Ubud, splashing around in the Air Panas Sengeri (hot springs)accompanied by radical views, amazing fresh bread and delicious soups at Village Above the Clouds in Munduk Andong.
4. Surprise “ooohey goooey” visits to my fiancée at Hubud, Ubud’s very cool co-working space.
5. Sunset tea and wine dates with old friends (and new) at our home on Sayan ridge. The view? Let’s just say I can see dinosaurs roaming.

2. Go to White Sand beach north of Candidasa for a great get away day! Blue water, white sand and young coconuts.

3. Go to Milano Salon in Ubud and get a mani/pedi and a back rub or head massage all at the same time. Decadent!

4. For Artists…buy gorgeous handmade paper in a full range of colors at the shop next to Tutmak on the Football field on it’s on Jalan Dewi Sita.

5. For a real Italian meal go to Black Beach in Ubud. Try the gnocchi…the gorgonzola sauce is amazing and the red sauce is the real stuff.
